Before you continue to submit your audition videos, ensure that you have studied all the instructions and requirements at properly. Submissions that don’t meet those requirements exactly will be discarded.
Closing date for NWU applications: 30 June 2024
Closing date for audition videos: 12 July 2024
Please ensure that the following information and files/documents are ready and available before you start with the submission of your audition videos:
- Your own personal contact details
- A digital copy of your ID document to upload
- Contact details for your parents / guardians
- Your provisional student number (issued when you applied for admission to North-West University)
- Confirmation that you’ve completed your application for admission to North-West University: either the confirmation letter, or a screenshot of the completed application to upload
- Your current AP Score (use this APS calculator to determine your score)
- A digital copy of your Matric certificate or current academic record (e.g. current Matric marks / current tertiary academic record) to upload
- Digital copies of external board (e.g. Unisa / Royal Schools) practical and music theory exam certificates to upload (if applicable)
- Two/three audition videos to upload, as specified in the audition requirements and video requirements. If a video is quite large (>50MB), compress it with an app for Android or iOS to make it easier and quicker to upload.
