The St Alban’s College Roadshow is a group of 75 learners making up a choir, barbershop group, big band, classical rock ensemble, and a number of smaller groups, including gumboot dancers. During their visit to Potchefstroom from 19-22 February, they will present a free lunch hour concert at the Conservatory on Thursday 20 February 2014 at 13:10.
Their performances are exuberant and energetic and the music ranges from classical and religious to rock, jazz and African music. They have toured locally and internationally, winning medals and generating a large fanbase. The choral artistic director, Ms Lhente-Mari Pitout, is an alumnus of the NWU School of Music.
