The Conservatory came alive during the last week of August as the final-year Music Education students in the BMus programme, guided by Prof Mignon van Vreden and Prof Ewie Erasmus, hosted the annual Mmino Fest.
This eisteddfod was a true musical celebration, bringing together musicians of all ages from across Potchefstroom. From piano solos to string ensembles, soaring voices, flutes, original compositions, and vibrant guitar performances, participants filled the venues with talent, creativity, and passion.
A big round of applause and heartfelt thanks go to our fantastic adjudicators who gave their time, expertise, and encouragement to every performer:

- Ms Rineke Viljoen — strings, woodwind, and ensemble
Their supportive feedback and enthusiasm helped make this year’s Mmino Fest an unforgettable experience for participants and audiences alike.
