August and September are usually the months when hundreds of music learners across the country have to complete practical music exams, whether for music examining bodies such as Unisa, Royal Schools or Trinity College, or for the final Matric exam. In order to assist learners and their teachers with the final preparations for these exams, the practical music lecturers of the School of Music at North-West University will be available at the Conservatory in Potchefstroom on the weekend of 1 & 2 August 2014 for special lessons in a certain number of instruments.
Lessons will be offered on the Friday afternoon and Saturday morning in singing, piano, organ, flute, violin and cello on Grade 5 level and higher. The cost is only R120 per one-hour lesson and it is possible to book more than one lesson or even for more than one instrument. Bookings can be made at tel. (018) 299-1692, e-mail, or online.
