The Choir and Dixie Band of Pretoria Boys High will be touring through North-West Province during August for concerts with amongst others the North-West Youth Choir. Their concert tour will also include a free lunch hour concert on Monday 24 August 2015 at 13:10 in the Conservatory Hall in Potchefstroom. Pretoria Boys High is one of the oldest schools in Gauteng and choral singing is one of the many activities.

Three of the jazz ensembles at the NWU School of Music will present a free lunch hour concert on Thursday 23 October 2014 at 13:10 in the Conservatory Hall. The ensembles consist of 6-7 players each and are directed by Hattingh Davel, a Masters student at the School of Music. Each of the ensembles will perform a set of three pieces, including jazz standards such as Song for my father,.
