Music and Conservatory students at the North-West University annually have an opportunity to compete for study bursaries and prizes, worth several thousands of rands, during the School of Music’s Bursary Competition. Auditions are held over two days and the finalists then perform during the Bursary Winners’ Concert, after which the bursaries and prizes are awarded. This year the Bursary Winners’ Concert will have an added sparkle as the audience is requested to sport their most dazzling cocktail attire.
The Bursary Winners’ Concert is scheduled for Tuesday 17 October 2017 at 19:30 in the Conservatory Hall and will once again be a showcase of the best young talent that the NWU School of Music & Conservatory has to offer. This prestige event, is one of the highlights in the annual concert series at the Conservatory.
