The assessment week continues (until Saturday), so there aren’t many other activities at the Conservatory. Wednesday 1 October • Dr Alvin Petersen and Dr Chris van Rhyn will attend a two-day workshop on blended learning. Saturday 4 October • Dr Chris van Rhyn departs for Poland to attend the ISCM World Music Days in Wroclaw. • Assessment week ends and Spring/Aardklop recess starts (until 12 October).

AARDKLOP: Brahms Chamber Music — 8 October 2014

Three performance lecturers and a doctoral piano student from the NWU School of Music will perform in two chamber music concerts during this year’s Clover Aardklop National Arts Festival in Potchefstroom. Piet Koornhof and Human Coetzee will return for the second concert on Wednesday 8 October at 10:00 in the kykNET Conservatory Hall to collaborate with their colleague, Waldo Weyer, in a performance of Brahms’ “Piano Trio no. 3 in.

Three performance lecturers and a doctoral piano student from the NWU School of Music will perform in two chamber music concerts during this year’s Clover Aardklop National Arts Festival in Potchefstroom.
