Just as the first semester closed with a piano performance by an American pianist, the concert series in the second semester continues with a recital by another American pianist, Robert Auler. He is a professor of piano at the State University of New York in Oswego and regularly appears in concert, both as a soloist and chamber musician. Additionally, he is active as a jazz pianist, performing regularly with his quartet, the Oswego Jazz Project.

His concert programme on Tuesday 29 July 2014 at 19:30 in the Conservatory Hall includes a Beethoven sonata, Schubert impromptu, and Mendelssohn’s Variations Sérieuses. But as a keen advocate of new music, and an American, he will also perform music by young composers, some American as well.
